Why would a GPS matter? It would tell you where YOU thought you were in relation to the border, when the Iranian security forces might have a very different opinion about where that very fuzzy line really was. I think some form of religion will continue to exist. Religion provides a kind of escape of responsibility and reality that many people cannot operate without. The concept of death to people is soo outrageous that they get tons of comfort from thinking their is a magical world beyond this one.

The key to open source success is time? That's bull, the key is being able to make money out of it like Firefox does with its Google search, etc. It means they can put resources into making a product that works and is easy to use.Compare to open source projects like Notepad++, FileZilla etc. Sure they do what they do fine, but they have horrible UIs and usability..

What a moron! he said some stupid stuff, possibly career ending. But on the other hand, how does Michael Vick and Brandon Marshall get back in with their teams. Last time I checked, actions speak louder than words! Although his words were stupid, hateful, unnecessary, and homophobic, he didn't beat a woman or kill innocent animals. Certainly not defending him or saying the team wasn't justified in his release - he definitely deserved it. I am just pissed Vick is back!?
Yea the Senecas are taken care of pretty well and take care of their own pretty well as well. They don't have to pay sales tax on the reservation and they can do pretty much do anything they want on the reservation which is sad because I have seen them get away with a lot of BS. Another thing about the checks, if they stay on the reservation until they are 23 then they get checks for life where ever they live. They also get free college education and school supplies (laptops, books, paper, etc.).

Woo! He was one of my math professors at Harvey Mudd College. He's a great teacher and a really nice guy, too.A few things that may not be totally obvious from the video:* He's not a savant. He developed this skill just by practice.* He also does "real" magic tricks, including some pretty good card tricks.* His research area is discrete math. He's proved some interesting theorems and sometimes uses his skill to find patterns in numbers; this gives him an advantage over others who would have to use a calculator.* He has a book on how to do fast mental math. I practiced for just a few weeks and now I can square a three-digit number in my head in about a minute.
