I won't disagree that treatments have been developed but I can't recall a cure for any major disease or illness in a very long time. The last one that comes to mind is Polio and that was what in the 60s? Maybe small pox perhaps as that's been wiped out as well.

Just like Ma Bell was split up in 1984, the Catholic church was broken up in to smaller pieces in the 16th century. You know, it was a religious anti-trust case. But really there were always other options that by the numbers were competitive, Islam for instance. But now just like we see AT&T eating up everything from Ameritech to Southwestern Bell, we see the Catholics gathering back up the Anglicans and the Lutherans...so we have Cable Companies today offering VoIP like we have Islam...see no more monopoly..

I'm British and 9 weeks post op after having a double lung transplant. I take 30 pills a day as well as extremely expensive anti rejection drug. All this was needed due to a pre existing condition. How much does it cost? Not to sound like a dick, but I don't know, don't care. My fellow Brits kindly paid for my treatment and after care. Thanks guys.I have to wait a hour to see my consultant sometimes.In America I'd be dead.I'll wait an hour, and stop whining. Thanks.
