Great idea, next we can give some pedo a light sentence and then hire him to take care of some kids since he will know what to look for. No matter what kind of deal they get, no matter what kind of life they offer them, and no matter what they pay them, it will still pale in comparison to what they could steal with that kind of access and inside knowledge. A properly run HOA is a good thing. The problem is belong to an overly mature HOA.I liken it to the government. It starts out well. But, before you know it, they created all kinds of arbitrary rules stemming from personal vendettas between feuding neighbors and everyone is forced to live in a prison state.The only choices at that point is moving or ousting the HOA and forming a new one. |

The stoppage of giving condoms to the poor in Africa will lead to far more deaths from Aids and other STV's than all the terrorist attacks combined. The difference is that terrorist attacks show up on all the news outlets, and are covered 24/7, whereas the AIDS epidemic in Africa and elsewhere don't come close to the radar, even though far more people die in it.There are other examples in which policies based on Pentecostal/fundamentalist Christian morality have killed and will end up killing far more people than 9/11, or anything likely to follow it. Of course, Fundamentalist Christians don't think they are doing anything wrong or immoral, but many other groups thought they were doing God's work whilst millions suffered and died in their hands. |
