Humans that don't put themselves before ducks won't last long.

Not only a nerd, also a KICKASS dad!.
What I wonder is, do they not commit a crime, too, by starting to download the torrent, even if only to snatch the peer list? Also, the Digg ads suck.!

The biggest issue with the "yeah but you don't own it" argument isn't that the services will die, but that your ability to pay will die and you'll be forced to cancel. Not everyone has $15 a month to spend on phone music. It's better to spend that on a CD that you can keep forever than a month's worth of listening. Also, with the economy the way it is today and people losing jobs, the ability to pay $15 a month in addition to the iPhone bill with data plan just for streaming music may not be among the top priorities for most people.?

I went to a private school in Israel back in 1999-2000 and I can certainly assure you that nothing was ever censored. The West Bank and Gaza were definitely on the map and we didn't deny Muhammad from our history class.

Here's my solution to the problem:Since it seems that "marriage" has some biblical (i.e. religious) basis, why not keep it as such?Eliminate the idea of having to get a governmentally-provided "marriage license", and change it to a "civil union license", grandfathering all current marriage licenses to be considered civil union licenses. But going forward, the government would provide just a "civil union license" on a state-by-state basis, and each state would make the determination who qualifies for that - be it male with female, or male with male, or female with female, or even human with animal if that state should so choose. As for the "marriage" part of it, leave that in the church. Continue to have churches have the ability to "marry" people, with the only difference being that they'd get a "civil union license" instead of a "marriage license". That way it's up to each church to determine if they will marry only heterosexual couples or what-not. That way the "sanctity" of marriage is preserved, and yet allows for other types of unions as well. |
