On the one hand, you have a point about supporting smaller government and personal liberty. BUT, as I mentioned above, it seems more than a little hypocritical that they suddenly have remembered their principles once the other major party came into power, accusing someone else over the exact same things they supported when their own party was in power. And additionally, no rational person should be comparing universal healthcare to the Nazis. At best it looks ignorant, at worst it is disgusting and disrespectful to those who actually died in the Holocaust. Any rational discussion from the teabaggers became impossible at that point (and when you had people yelling things like "keep the government out of my Medicare").!

This is Blizzard. They've always had the motto that they will release a game when it's done. I don't know why anyone expected this to be any different, or wanted it to be any different either. They can take whatever time they need to make Starcraft 2 the best game possible.?

agreed. The quality is the same as when I view it on a PC. Unless the 360 has some kind of amazing secret conversion utility, it's going to be the same quality on the 360, ps3, or pc.

Reminds me of an Ira Glass interview with a very nice, good-willed woman who told her children to not be surprised if the next day they couldn't find her. She explained not to worry for her because she would be lifted up to heaven. Her children, who had not yet accepted Christ into their hearts would remain here, along with their father, and things would turn very bad. When the next day came and went, eventless, she was surprised but her kids weren't. They figured that's just mom. Ira at this point asked a simple, sympathetic question in the least-judgmental way imaginable - an indication of just how great an interviewer he is because in the face of obvious embarrassment and silliness he created a space for her to feel safe to continue sharing with him this experience. As I recall, he said: "When nothing happened, that must have been hard for you." |
