And, Hell, we're in this [depression] because the government spent too much money. Now I'll refrain from going off on a libertarian rant but a major reason why we're in this mess was because we made it mandatory for lenders to ease their credit standards in the late 90's, so give it some time and we've got the housing market crashing > entailing loss of jobs > less spending > overall downturn of the market. Granted, our situation is can be attributed to a number of things like poor business practice, corruption, inefficient spending, Iraq, the list goes on but in comparison to the rest of the world we're still sittin' pretty easy...Would you rather live in Pyongyang?
